Re: Story Thread
This is a Thomas story I wrote a week ago
Reuniting at Last
Written by Zachthethomasfan2001
Narrator: Thomas loves running his branch line everyday with Annie and Clarabel.
Narrator: He passes stations and rivers on his line.
Narrator: One sight Thomas never forgets about is when he first met Glynn the Coffee Pot Engine.
Thomas: Oh boy! I can’t wait to see what exciting things I might see!
Narrator: Thomas is always overjoyed to go on his branch line and he could see what exciting things he might see today.
Thomas: I’m on my way!
Narrator: Soon, Thomas approached Ffarquhar Station when on a siding, he saw a coffee pot engine.
Thomas: Hello, remember me!
Glynn: Oh, oh, I remember you! You are the new number one!
Thomas: My name is Thomas!
Glynn: Oh yes! This feels like déjà vu again. You called me Mr. Coffee Pot.
Glynn: Are you wearing that number with pride?
Thomas: Yes I am! You can count on me to run the line Glynn!
Narrator: After Thomas visited Glynn, he told the other engines about Glynn.
Edward: Wow! I thought that coffee pot engine would be scrapped by now.
Gordon: That coffee pot engine is not too strong for a railway these days!
James: And not too splendid!
Henry: Guys, don’t be too boastful!
Edward: Maybe you should tell Sir Topham Hatt about not scrapping Glynn and restoring him.
Thomas: Yeah, good idea!
Narrator: Thomas soon decided to ask and tell Sir Topham Hatt about Glynn.
Sir Topham Hatt: Oh yes, Thomas! I remember Glynn! He was an engine I built.
Thomas: Really?
Sir Topham Hatt: Yes! The reason why I put him in the siding is because he broke down while pulling a goods train.
Thomas: So, can we try to restore him?
Sir Topham Hatt: Well, I’m a bit short on engines with Percy and Toby doing shunting duties. Also, more engines on good trains run. Thomas, can you take me over to Ffarquhar to see Glynn?
Thomas: Yes sir!
Narrator: Thomas now only hoped that Sir Topham Hatt will allow Glynn to be restored.
Sir Topham Hatt: Glynn, long time no see!
Glynn: Hello, sir!
Sir Topham: Thomas told me about you and I want to ask you if you want to be restored and in good working order.
Glynn: Oh yes sir! I would love to work on the railway again!
Sir Topham Hatt: Well, Thomas take Glynn to the Sodor Steamworks to be restored!
Thomas: Yes sir!
Narrator: Thomas soon took Glynn to the Sodor Steamworks to be restored and repainted. A few days later, Glynn was back to work after a long time of waiting on a siding.
Glynn: I’m so proud to showing pride!
Narrator: From now on, Glynn proved he was a really useful coffee pot engine.
The End

Re: Story Thread
Anything goes, just keep it clean and PG-13 at most. If we get five fanfictions from the same fandom I'll probably make a thread for it.
If you have a story that's longer than 1 post, make a thread for that story.

Is Chucky the Killer Doll from the 1988 slasher horror film Child's Play going to be one of the TerribleToys?

To clarify, this thread is for brief one-off stories right? Longer ones get their own thread?

Re: Story Thread
As you all know, I love history - so I'm thinking of making a story where famous people from the late 16th - early 17th centuries (Shakespeare, Francis Bacon, Elizabeth I, John Calvin, et cetera) live together in one house (With accompanying 'Ask the' thread). Your thoughts?

Yes. The Historical Figures was a mere 'testing the waters' project.
