Diesel 10: He was on my new site and this site and the TTTE site the day before yesterday.

I will be Thomas I guess, because nobody else is stepping up

Diesel 10: Are we ready yet?!

Thomas: yes, I feel like we should get started so we can get Diesel 10 out of here soon.

Diesel 10: Why you *little *engine!!

Thomas: well you can't catch me!

Thomas races away

Let's officially begin.

Toby awakened in Tidmouth Sheds. He was advanced in age - One of the oldest locomotives, and needed his rest.

Meanwhile, Thomas was taking his normal routes, when he got to the viaduct, he took a different route that went right next to the river, and lead down to Knapford, when he saw a barge floating, with Henry on the other side of the river with the breakdown train, fishing Diesel 10 out

Thomas: hey diesel, going for a swim?

"We found him in a sludge barge of all things Thomas... Still can't believe all that happened these past few days.  Hatt says as soon as he's fished out, he's gonna make sure Diesel 10 never comes back"

Henry was tasked with bringing the breakdown train to the area, but now he needed to go; there was an important delivery that had to bring to Vicarstown

"Once you are loaded onto the flatcar, Donald and Douglas are gonna take you away.  Goodbye diesel 10" as Henry began steaming away "and good riddance" he added under his breath

As diesel 10 was hooked up to the cranes, a worker called out "cut the hydronic pressure on that claw, it a hazard."  Then he said to himself "I told manager it wasn't a good idea."

Toby calmly steams out of the shed, to collect Henrietta, the other Breakdown Crane, and several cars of supplies. The two had to take workmen and materials to The Big Dipper, as it had partially collapsed several hours earlier.

Toby happily sauntered down the line, his side-plates clattering.

They must be repaired soon.. Thought Toby to himself.

He soon came across Henry at a signal - He rang his bell.

"Hullo, Henry. You seem rushed. Are Diesel's cronies hounding you? I overheard them at Arlesdale yesterday evening, plotting to expand their efforts to the Skarloey line. Isn't that preposterous!"

"I thought splatter and Dodge were done with Diesel 10?"  Henry said, confused.

"I'm off to collect a freight train... But I gotta stock up on water first."  Henry explained. He was down to about 1/3 full in his tender

At Crovan's Gate, Diana the King Class, a new acquisition, was undergoing steam tests. She was pulling a long load of Sodor Coal to be delivered to Tidmouth Yard.. She had heard rumours of diesels with limbs on this railway, but thus far had seen none. She chuckled.

"Really? I never heard anything about Splatter and Dodge's departure. Oh- There's the water tower and coaling bunker. Speaking of which, I need to have a refill."

Toby shunts onto the third line, leaving an empty space for Henry to be filled.

(Toz, I neglected to ask - What is Diana's personality?)

(She's sort of a "mother hen" type, but she also has a tendency to hold grudges. Or something like that, I'm terrible at describing personality.)

Diana arrived at the yard to see Henry and Toby.

"Hullo, who're you?"

(Actually, that is very good. Simply curious.)

"Oh! I surmise you're the new engine Sir Topham Hatt purchased. Toby is my name. That chap that looks as if he is about to sneeze is Henry."

"I'm a goods engine sometimes; other times I'm an express engine.  I can't talk long though; once I'm topped off I need to collect an important freight train."  Henry explained

"Just what are you taking, Henry?"

"Driver called it "mixed goods" so its a little of everything."  Henry explained.

Henry then looked at Toby and Henrietta "Toby, where's Victoria and Elsie?"  He asked, knowing Toby had a longer train

"Elsie is at the rear, holding some supplies. And, if you'll recall, Victoria was sold to the National Collection - Or, in the process thereof. She's being refurbished at Crovan's Gate."

(Actually I don't recall that, lol)

"Oh; I see."

Henry's driver called out "ok old boy, you are topped off; time to go!"

"Well, I'd better get my train.  Enjoy your day Toby!  And it was nice to meet you Diana."  Though Henry had to wait for the signal to change before he could depart

(Mm, It was made up on-the-spot.)

"Many thanks, and goodbye, Henry."

Toby has been replenished with coal and water.

"Now, Diana, what have you been tasked with?"

"Mostly goods work. I'm told your No. 2 is away on overhaul, so I'm doing his jobs. After that, they'll probably put me on passenger trains. I hope."

Diana left her cars, switched onto the next track, and backed onto the turntable.

"Yes, he is. Well, I must go. It was a pleasure."

Toby rings his bell, and puffs away.

He arrives at the viaduct, where construction soon commences.

Toby looks down to see several Tugboats, and Bulstrode the Barge, shuffle down the river.

"Hm."
